- Body is decorated with heavy stitches in different shapes to express a modern and sculptural look to mirror the collection storytelling “The Studio Visit” made by HOFMANN COPENHAGEN, for Pre Spring 2024.

“Hofmann Copenhagen introduces The Studio Visit for through a bold palette of colours, sculptural prints and playful silhouettes, the collection pays homage to Danish artist Sonja Ferlov Manconba and the power of her creative intuition.

Renowned for her feminist conviction and progressive imagination, Sonja Ferlov Manconba was a Danish-born Parisian sculptor who plucked inspiration from all facets of society. While her sculptures exist as tactile objects, the starting point of her work was always from within. As an intuitive artist, Sonja often referred to her sculptures as “creatures”, waiting for them to speak to her before she could finish. With this surrealist mentality, she created more than just art, but physical manifestations of her mind and beliefs.”
